Update on JR
Well, mom came down from portland today so she could pick some things up for her and JR, and we went shopping and picked up dog food on other such things. She gave me some money for college (I gotta eat too ya know ), so I am good there. When it comes to rides, I am doing good, I think I am going to ask Barbie if she can pick me up for class next week, I know Tanya needs the break and I know it is hard on her having to come out all the way to my appartment (we live outside city limits) and then go and drop of Derek and after that come back so she can come to class. I am so thankfull that I have such wonderful and caring neightbors and friends, I dont know what we would do without them. But anyways, back to JR. He is doing better, they took his catheter out, so he can go to the bathroom on his own. His incision is still open, so that way they can monitor it and make sure there is no chance of infection. He had a couple of bowel movements, and there was no blood, so that is extremely good right there. He didnt have pancreitis like we thought he did, thats a relief. And we found out what caused that section of lower intestine to start dying. He was born with that perforation in that section, and that it just took this long to start dying. Go figure huh? I mean, how weird is that? But, he is doing better overall. He had a fever when mom left, but they had just taken the catheter out and changed his badages. We are hoping that he and mom will be back sometime next week, mom and I are figuring it'll be about maybe 4 more days. Cross your fingers ot pray for us!

Hey sorry I havent been on...
Hey guys, sorry I havent been on too much lately, I've been REALLY busy. See, my brother is in the hospital, him and mom have been up in portland since monday. We originally thought it might have been his appendix, but man were we wrong! He had a doc appointment on moday, and when his doctor saw him, he told him and mom to go to the emergency room here in town. Well, they got him in, and sent him to St. Vincent's up in portland. It tunrs out a small piece of his lower intestine has gotten perforated and was dying. I know, scary huh? If that hadnt have caught it in time, he would have died. Anyways, he had surgery and they ut the dying part out and sewed him back up together. So him and mom will most likely be up there for about a week and a half, so I am here at home watching the house and the kitty (our dog) by myself, so you can understand how busy I am right now between that and school. I just hope I have enough money to buy Radar some more dog food. >_< Well guys, I'll talk to ya later, I have some laundry to do.

Hmm, well for starters (lol) I'm completely and happily addicted to Camel mentthol light cigarettes. I didnt originally start out with those, but I have been smoking them faithfully for 3 or so years now. Lets see....tattoos would have to be the next one. ^^ Eversince I got my two home tattoos 2 years ago, I cant get enough of them! Thnkfully though I'm getting professional ones now that I can lol. Hmm...I wonder, should I count booze as one or not? Oh what the hell. *shrug* Lol, so booze is the next one lol. Mostly whiskeys, some rums (I'm picky lol), Japanese plum wines and sakes (pronounced saw-kay), vodka (but only in mixed drinks or cocktails), and Mikes Hard Lime. :D
favorite tv shows:
Ooh, thats a hard one for me, seeing as I dont watch too much tv. Hmm, I would have to say M.A.S.H is one. That is a show about the korean war starring Alan Alda and a couple of other people I cant remember. Its a drama/comedy. And as for the rest I mostly watch the Travel Channel or the Food Channel. Some of the shows I watch on there are Man vs. Food (Adam Richman goes around the country finding food eating contests and participating in them), Bizzare Foods (Andrew Zimmern travels around the world and tries various cultures and their food), No Reservations (Anthony Bourdain goes around the world and does the same thing as the one before, except he's more awesome lol).

This is a an easy one. ^^ I have 2 tattoos. A home tattoo my friend God (lol, thats her nickname) did 2 years ago which is a star on the side of my left foot and a blessing moon on my upper right arm. The blessing moon stands for the marriage of earth and sky, dark and light, and the Queen and King of summer. As for piercings, I have two piercings in each ear, nothing fancy, just on my ear lobes. ^^
if you could time travel, what era would you go to:
Ooohhh....I likey this question! I would so travel to the era of ancient egypt when Cleopatra was still alive! I would LOVE to meet her! She is such a straong woman figure, we could all learn something from her! I would love to see all of the different temple and obelisks, as well as the library of alexandria. I'm so sad that it burned down. T_T There were SO many ancient texts in there!

Lets see, I think I will pick....The Beatles. I got into The Beatles when I was really young thanks to my Aunt Karen and my mother. Its really hard to pick which song is my favorite, but I would have to say one of them is Yellow Submarine lol. ^^

What's your family like??
My family is pretty cool. My mom is a leo, which explains alot lol. She has a very strong personality. She is very nice and understanding, all of my friends just love her. She dosent judge people, and she has a very open mind when it comes to everything. She is a very loving person, alot of people call her Grama Kathy or Aunt Kathy. My little brother is...well....annoying, to me anyways lol. XD He is a really good kid, he is a very nice person. He's not too good with people skills seeing as he is high functioning autistic, but he is getting better at it now that he is back in school. He is really good with computers and video games, and that is an understatement lol.
What kind of relaitonships have you had??
Hmm.....*thinks about it* Well, when I was younger and in high school I had various short relationships, and 1 long relationship that lasted about 8 months, but it was over the internet lol. After I dropped out of high school things got better in that area. Between dropping out of GED classes and going to job corps I had an affair with an engaged guy lol. I know I know, thats bad. But his finace wasnt the nicest either so I dont blame him lol. When I got into job corps I had my longest relationship, which was almost a year. I thought he was it, we were going to get married, but he chickened out and dumped me. Hmm...I think thats about it lol.
Do you play any instruments?
Unfortunetly, no, I dont. I have always wished to lear how to play the piano though.
Have you ever done any drugs???
Let me think....*thinks* Nope, nothing serious just pot. I've never seen any reason to, though god knows how many opportunities I have had to.
Do you really see ghosts? What is that like??
Yeah, I do. I've been able to see them since I was 8, so 10 years. Well, I put is this way, its a gift and a curse, though I hate to use that cliche lol. I've learned to control my aura (I can see those as well) so they dont bug me as much, if I didnt they would bug me 24/7. There is a good side and a bad side to it, the good ones come around, but so do the more malevolent and mean ones. I see lots of things in that sense, you know, things like a spirit reliving their death over and over, things like that. But it is nice to help them "find the light" or find peace.

Answer to Questions
Okey dokey, here are the answers to your questions! I hope they are descriptive enough....^^;
Marissa:
1. Style Icons
Let see....at the moment I dont think I have very many style icons. Let me think a bit.....*goes off and mind wanders* Ok, I have a couple. One would have to be Amanda Palmer of the Dresden Dolls. I just love her ecelctic and dark style, its very me. Other than that, I honestly cant think of anyone else at the moment....
2. Twilight
Tilight is a pretty good book series that I have read. It is about vampires and werewolves. This girl moves up to Alaska, and she keeps noticing this one particlar boy, but he is VERY rude to her, trying to get her to leave him alone. One thing leads to another, she finds out ALL sorts of things, and it goes from there. When it first came out, I honestly did NOT want to read it, seeing as I jumped off that particular wagon in middle school. But everyone kept giving such great reviews, so I finally thought "Why the hell not?" And to my surpprise, it wasnt too bad. I would reccomend it.
3. MSI
Ah....MSI. MSI stands for Mindless Self Indulgence, a band that I listen to. They are very....weird and out there but their music is awesome. The lead singer is Little Jimmy Urine, and his vocals are fantastic. I cant remember the rest of the band, but they have a guitarist, a drummer, and a bassist. I fisrt got into MSI back in high school, and it has been a love affair ever since then. If you like totally random, weird, and awesome music, I would check them out.
4. Mike's Hard
YUUUUUMMMMMMYYYYY. :D Mikes Hard is my favorite brand of flavored beer. Mike's comes in lots of varieties. Such as: Lime, Berry, Pomegranet, Cranberry, Lemonaide, and a couple of others that I cant remember. If you like flavored things that make great chasers, look these up.
5. Astoria
Astoria is the town I am living in at the moment. Astoria is very small, we maybe have a little over 10,000 people in town. It only takes about 30 minutes to get from one end of town to the other. Astoria is also a very old town, it was the first tradepost this side of the Rocky Mountains. It was founded by John Jacob Astor, whose namesake also shares a town in New York. We are right on the Pacific Ocean, and live right next to the Columbia River.

As for this, I am a amature writer. I like to write short stories and I have been in the process of writing a partivular one based off of an anime, though I havent been able to update in in years. Hmm....I think that is about it on that one. o_o

:D I smoke, and have been smoking for 6 years now. I started smoking Marlbros, and then gravitating to my current favorite. I typically smoke Camel menthol lights, my favorite brand. I do occasionally some the green, but only once in a great blue moon.

^^ My middle name is pretty common in my opionion, it is Michelle.
4. swimming
Lets see....I love to go swimming when I can at the local pool (its huge with a big water slide and hot tub), the lake, and the beach. I try and go to the beach and swim whenever I can, even if it is in the dead of winter lol.

David Bowie is a music icon. If I am not mistaken he got his start in the 80's and never stopped. His music style varies with each era. He is one of my favorite artist just for that fact. He can be very eclectic and random in some of his songs, but can be quite rational and normal at times as well.

Pretty cool day
All in all, today was a good day. Went up to the college and figured out my workstudy hours (only to find out when I get home that I need to change them -___-) and hung out for a bit and talked with friends. After that, I walked around town with Danny for various errands. And While walking downtown I saw....my gay twin! I am so happy I got to see him! >w< Little Pat is so awesome. So we walked and talked for a bit about him and Q (his boyfriend) moving to Vegas to open their call service. After that, me and Danny went to The Crystal Habit. Omg, I love that shop. Its this beautiful shop that has all sorts of stones, crystals and gems displayed EVERYWHERE. So I talked to Frank and had him identify some sttuff for me and Terra (one of the shop owners downtown). Then we went and ate some yummy japanese food. ^^
After that me and Danny spilt up, and I went to go watch my movie. I went to go and see The Haunting in Conneticut. Ok, you guys know i love horror, right? And that I have yet to find a movie that scares me? I found it. >_< I had to walk out less than half way into the movie. It was just too much, I mean, it really reminded me of the REALLY REALLY R E A L L Y negative things that I have seen, and I just couldnt take it. I was so scared! T_T I lost control of my aura (I reign it in so spirits and whatnot dont bother me as much), and when I noticed that it wasnt just me and the other people in the theatre anymore, I decided to leave before the negative things in the film attracted some really nasty things. That was NOT fun. *dies* Anyways, that was my day. I hope you all find it interesting! :D
